Tele/sales Executive - Job Description
- Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about our courses using sales scripts.
- Place a minimum of 150 phone calls to potential clients from our database.
- Perform script (with necessary adjustments) to ensure consistency of sales program.
- Answer potential clients' questions about our courses.
- Generate between 5 and 15 prospect sales leads per day.
- Set appointments with prospective customers based on our schedules.
- Maintain computer, telephone and other equipment.
- Train other telemarketers as and when required.
- Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to the manager.
- Refer customer complaints to the manager.
- Answering questions about products or the company.
- Asking questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
- Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
- Enter and update customer information in the database.
- Handle grievances to preserve the company's reputation.
- Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
- Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Using sales scripts proffered by the company to drive sales and respond to customer rejections.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.
- Always communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers.
- Continually meeting or exceed daily and monthly targets with respect to call volume and sales.
