General Manager - Sales - FMCG/Automotive/Manufacturing (7-12 yrs)
Education : MBA - Tier 1 Institutes (IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS/IIFT/IMT/NITIE/SIBM)
Experience : 7-12 Years
Location : Eastern Africa
Key Responsibilities :
- Managing Sales & Business Development strategies, Handling Institutions and consumer sales
- Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan (ABP).
- Delivered growth & achieved target on all key P&L metrics - volume, revenue, gross profit & EBITA
- B2B Sales & Business Development, Product Development, Key Account Handling.
- Design & Implement a cost-optimized supply chain network designed through I2- Supply Chain Strategies.
- Responsible for quarterly reviews & updating of the same in SAP
- Pre-dominant Sales experience with ability to handle P&L
- Overall commercial acumen & Financial savvy
- Prior experience in Production/Manufacturing/R&D would be an added advantage.
- Evaluate & Implement new channels of distribution including Super Stockiest, Self Help Groups and B2B aggregators.
- Work towards reduction in cost with optimum usage of resources
