General Manager - Sales - Automotive/Automobile Industry (10-15 yrs)
Job Location : Hyderabad / Delhi (Corporate)
Reporting to COO / CEO
Principal Accountabilities :
- Post Graduate in Business Management ( Full Time) with 10-15 years of Experience as Head of Sales / Deputy General Manager / General Manager Sales in the automotive/ automobile industry.
- Prior work may be a combination within a region, headquarters, or manufacturing facility to include various specialties of the automotive industry including: Sales Ops, Dealer Agreements, Marketing, Sales Reporting, Market Rep Studies, Pricing, Consumer Affairs, Distribution, Customer Satisfaction, Advertising/Promotions, Warranty, Facilities/Merchandising, CMM, Contests & Incentives, Product Planning, etc
- Budgeting, Business planning & Business development
- Price and margin control
- Maintain excellent relations with Principals Customer satisfaction - develop class leading scores
- Monitor competitor activities Credit control, finance management ability to interpret management accounts.
- Analyze the market situation and take correct and timely decisions regarding marketing, advertising, pricing, inventory management.
- Provide inspirational leadership for the team and ensure their development through coaching and training programs.
- Maintain excellent working relationship with Stake holders and after sales management.
- CSI/CRM/SSI, Events and BTL activities more Weekly review and daily updating to Reporting authority.
Additional Qualifications and Competencies :
- Proven excellence mentoring, persuading and inspiring sales staff; ability to drive performance of others as well as influence the actions of others who may not be under your direct control
- Thorough understanding of the various aspects of Sales operations including: marketing, advertising and promotions; market representation function, and sales and service agreements; customer satisfaction index (CSI) survey process and reports; parts and accessories sales and service operations; and financial analysis and business management operations.
- Advanced analytical skills relating to market potential and sales performance and the ability to make related decisions that can significantly affect profitability.
- Excellent ability in negotiation and presentation at the national, regional and dealership level
- Extensive Travel officially all over the Nation.
