We are dedicated to providing high-quality, innovative products that enhance safety and performance across a wide range applications like PVC Cables, Polymer Compounds, Rubbers, Resins, Insulation, Paints & Varnishes, Paper & Textiles in combination with halogenated Flame Retardants, catering to various industries.

We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager of Sales and Marketing to spearhead our efforts in both domestic and export markets.

Position Overview :


The General Manager of Sales and Marketing who has commanding experience in key responsibilities listed below and to will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive growth in both domestic and international markets for our existing FR, Formulations, FR Masterbatches and compounding products and new products/applications/industries/sectors in Flame Retardants (FR)

This role involves overseeing the sales and marketing teams, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence globally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Marketing Strategy :

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for both domestic and export markets to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals for our existing FR, formulations, FR Masterbatches and compounding products and new products/applications.

- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in both local and international markets for FR products.

- Set annual sales and marketing objectives, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the company's overall business growth and expansion strategies.

2. Domestic and Export Market Development :

- Drive sales performance and market penetration in the domestic market through targeted campaigns and strategic partnerships for FR, Formulations, FR Masterbatches and compounding products.

- Expand the company's presence in international markets by developing and managing relationships with global distributors, clients, and industry partners.

- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards.

3. Marketing and Brand Management :

- Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product positioning strategies to enhance brand visibility and market share of our products in Global FR market.

- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including online advertising, social media, and content marketing.

- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

4. Market Analysis and Reporting :

- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and product development.

- Prepare and present regular sales and marketing reports, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.

- Track sales performance and develop strategies to address any challenges or opportunities.

5. Product Knowledge and Industry Expertise :

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of flame retardant products, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to effectively position and promote the company's products.

6. Compliance and Ethics :

- Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

- Address and resolve any compliance issues or disputes related to sales and marketing practices.

7. Client and Relationship Management :

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and distribution partners.

- Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals and long-term partnerships.

8. Team Leadership and Management :

- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing teams, ensuring effective execution of strategies and attainment of goals in a time bound manner.

- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of team members to build a high-performance culture.

- Evaluate team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications :

- Degree in Polymers/Plastic Technology/Chemistry MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 20 years of experience in sales and marketing preferably from the flame retardant or specialty chemicals industry, with at least 10 years in a senior management role.

- Proven track record of driving sales growth and executing successful marketing strategies for FR products and Masterbatches both domestic and international markets.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in using SAP B1 and CRM software's, digital marketing tools, and Google suite.

- Understanding of international trade regulations and export processes is highly desirable.
