About this role :
- Gartner's Corporate Communications team is responsible for defining, promoting and protecting the Gartner brand. By creating compelling content and marketing programs, our goal is to engage internal and external audiences in our value proposition and corporate narrative in order to drive long-term, double-digit growth.
- Gartner's Corporate Communications team is looking for a in our Gurgaon office. The ideal candidate is familiar with elements of copywriting/copy editing and has general knowledge of marketing and communications strategy.
Social Media Editorial Specialist
What you'll do :
- Approve and edit heavy daily volume of social copy from 10+ marketing partners across multiple channels to ensure that all messaging is error-free in the public domain. Also includes evaluating photos / videos / social cards to ensure accuracy and alignment with best practices
- Create social cards and social copy for key social media marketing content areas
- Support the webinar marketing program across social media, editing social copy and managing a content calendar for ~50 webinars/month
- Assist in expanding reach of content through evergreen promotions
- Identify trends and themes to provide suggestions to the team to increase the effectiveness of the overall program
- Leverage social listening tools and other review tactics to monitor the brand in the social space, addressing and escalating any risks or issues in a timely and effective manner
- Continuously contribute to benchmarking across all social media channels to seek out gaps, opportunities, and more impactful ways to engage
- Monitor all published content and conversations across media channels daily and identify opportunities for community management/engagement
- Foster relationships with global social media marketing contributors, regularly communicating and emphasizing best practices while approving content
What you'll need :
- 2+ years experience with English writing/editing
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred: Business, English, Communication, Journalism)
- Attention to detail; especially for social copywriting, editing and brand governance
- Meticulous copywriting and copy editing skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
