Job description :
- As an Assistant Manager - SEO, one will take charge of the complete Strategy, Planning, and Optimization of the SEO for selective game portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for improving the Organic rankings and increasing the top funnel organic traffic for Company which eventually leads to revenue growth.
- Nature of the role: Individual contributor, reporting into Director/ AVP - Performance Marketing and Organic Growth.
What will you be doing :
- Create and manage an SEO roadmap to win a share of voice on Google Search for high intent and high-volume search and drive relevant traffic to the platform.
- Performing periodic technical audits on the Company's website/pages, making short- and long-term technical SEO strategy recommendations in terms of (page load, Mobile friendly UI/UX), page speed, CWV (core web vitals), etc.,
- Work closely with the cross-functional team - Product team, Tech team, Design team, etc., - to achieve the overall SEO KPIs.
- Monitoring latest SEO trends, best practices, and techniques to ensure that our SEO effects are best in the industry.
- Create innovative content experiences that would attract and delight target audiences and set us apart from the competition. This would include coming up with mobile-first content ideas that users can read, view, watch, interact with, and share.
- Working closely with tech teams to identify and implement standard processes and automation to bring repeatability, efficiency, and massive scale for our SEO execution.
- Exhibit strong technical acumen for all things inbound marketing (Organic) and maintain good inter-team stakeholder management and rapport.
Qualifications/Requirements :
- BE/ B.Tech/BCA/MCA, preferably in computer science or information technology
- 4 to 6 years of relevant SEO experience mandatory, ideally in a consumer tech start-up or e-com company
- Must be well-versed with Google Algorithm updates
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points Solid expertise in Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform and implementations in a large-scale web and app property.
- Advanced computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) or Google Docs/Sheets
- Solid grasp of HTML/CSS, and a working understanding of Java.
