Games Horizon - Manager - Search Engine Optimization (3-5 yrs)
We are looking for a skilled SEO expert who will be responsible for identifying and executing the right strategies, techniques and tactics to increase the no. of visitors to the website and obtain a high ranking placement in search results. The ideal candidate should have excellent analysis skills, high degree of understanding and familiarity with various SEO tools and ability to mine insights and convert them into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand and improve upon SEO strategy performance
- Collaborate with the content creation team; and update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
- Monitor search engine algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
- Employ the right user experience and conversion rate optimization methods to ensure visitors turn into regular and active users
- Continuously check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor performance of competitor websites and make quick recommendations to content teams basis this.
Requirements:
- Proficient in understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods; with good knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Proven ability to derive actionable insights from data analysis
- High degree of agility and ability to co-ordinate well with content teams
- Understanding of front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and unstructured situations
- Prior proven experience in SEO of at-least 3 years is a must
- High degree of preference for someone with passion for PC and console games in general
The position is for a full-time role which is remote-based. Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate
