Brand Growth Team
You will be joining the Brand Growth team which is responsible for acquiring retail brands and ensuring their success on the mobile platform. You will be working closely with the brand and our internal Marketing teams to conceptualise and run marketing campaigns and use data insights for decision-making.
Any past experience of working with retail brands will be valued. The company office is in Mumbai but there may be extensive travel across other metro cities.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Prospect and acquire brands for the platform by closing deals with the best brands across major cities in India.
- Understanding the brand proposition, negotiating with the brands on commercial agreements and setting proper expectations.
- Overseeing the onboarding process for new brands on to the platform and working with various stakeholders inside and outside for quick turnaround.
- Building strong communication channels at all levels of the brand organisation to strengthen relationships, successfully execute initiatives and drive growth.
- Working with the Insights team to monitor brand's performance, devise ways to bridge gaps to drive growth and send regular communications to the brand.
- Working with the brand's as well as internal marketing team to strategize and execute new and relevant marketing campaigns and promotion plans to drive brand visibility, traffic and transactions.
- Identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship with the brand organisation; expanding the product and brand portfolio.
- Maintaining a broad understanding of the brand's P&L, revenue targets and gross margins and using it for better decision-making.
- Staying updated on retail and digital trends.
Good to have:
- Assisting senior team members in identifying opportunities to capture new brands and working with the Insights team to craft a compelling pitch to get the brands on board.
- Taking full accountability for the brand's P&L and ensuring great performance and growth.
Requirements:
- A decent understanding and/or a strong interest in the Retail/ eCommerce sector, brand awareness and retail trends
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent time and task management skills
- Ability to build, manage and mentor a 2 to 3 member team
- Understanding of brand growth drivers
- Basic digital marketing understanding
- A customer centric, creative and analytical problem-solving mindset
- Advanced data handling/ Excel skills and keen eye for detail
- Open to short/ long term travel at short notice or relocation
Salary Range: 8 - 15 LPA
