Fynd - Manager - Business Development (4-9 yrs)
What you will do at Fynd?
- Prospect and acquire brands for the platform by closing deals with the best brands across the country
- Understanding the brand proposition, negotiating with brands on commercial agreements and setting proper expectations
- Hands on business development, brand/retailer onboarding and account management
- Overseeing the onboarding process for new brands on to the platform and working with various stakeholders inside and outside for quick turnaround
- Building strong communication channels at all levels of the brand organisation to strengthen relationships, successfully execute initiatives and drive growth
- Identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship with the brand organisation; expanding the product and brand portfolio
- Maintaining a broad understanding of the brand's P&L, revenue targets and gross margins and using it for better decision-making
- Actively work on building the team, its capabilities and position
- Working with communications teams and partnerships teams to create a strong pipeline
Some specific requirements :
- Decent data analysis & Excel skills. Able to learn new data & analytical tools independently
- Good network across the retail ecosystem including brands, retailers, e-commerce companies, technology and consulting service providers etc.
- Knowledge of Ecommerce & Omni Chanel business
- Handle projects with problem-solving & a product mindset- Retail market study or Brand interaction to get inputs on new technologies or Brand updates
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills- Updated on Indian Retail trends & latest Omni features with competitors- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent time and task management skills
- Understanding brands in-depth business requirements
- Works approach should be always customer centric
- Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
- Take ownership & responsibility in every task
- Excellent presentation skills, preparing effective ppt
- Knowledge of Retail Supply chain
- Assisting Founders, P&L Leads and Sr. team members to achieve team targets
- Accountable for the brand's business at Fynd
- Business Margin calculations
