Job Description :
As a Product Marketer, you're expected to :
- Be an expert on our buyers and users problems, workflows, concerns and daily frustrations around expense reporting and management
- Be an expert on Fyle the product
- Reconcile the above two by translating product features into customer benefits
- Position Fyle so that it stands out from the competition
Tactical, day-to-day expectations from the Product Marketer are :
- Interview buyers and users to deeply understand their problems and challenges
- Interview happy customers and create case studies, testimonials (video or written) to be used across the website and elsewhere
- Create sales enablement collateral like product presentations, cheatsheets, tech-specs, battlecards
- Keep the website and other collateral updated to reflect all product features accurately
- Help other teams in Marketing with channel/campaign/target-audience specific messaging guidelines
- Write PR releases and publish + syndicate them
- Plan and execute the launch of new product features
- Use market, competitor and value-based research to establish product pricing
- Speak about and present the product to internal and external audiences
- Work with Product Management to refine in-app content
Skills :
- Communication skills : It's important that you have a very high standard of written and spoken communication skills.
- Time management and Collaborative skills : This role will work with Marketing teams, Design team, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success, therefore it is important to have great time management and people collaboration skills.
- Self-Learning : You'll have access to a lot of mentoring, but it's always better if you- re an incredible self-learner who can either Google or reach out to the right people to learn more about a subject.
- Comfort in an unstructured environment : We've grown pretty rapidly in the past two quarters, which means we- re constantly coming across new situations where we don't know the answers yet. It's important that you can look at an unstructured problem, give it some structure, and chart a robust path forward.
Cultural Setup :
- You're hardworking, planned and punctual
- Respectful of peers and juniors by default, and can disagree with a point-of-view with data & empathy, but without disagreeing with the person
Requirements :
- 2 to 4 years of SaaS product marketing experience, but quality of experience is far more important than years of experience
- You're deeply familiar with the usual SaaS tools like Hubspot (or any marketing automation and CRM tool), Google Analytics, Hotjar, Heap, etc
