Furtados School of Music - Manager - Business Development (2-6 yrs)

We are looking for an upbeat BDM to scale our B2B & B2C verticals, of which the online will play a pivotal role and help us achieve a global reach. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most trusted names in the music education industry and one that is differentiated from the larger market. The BDM will carry out the following responsibilities :
- Identifying new schools and promotional techniques
- Reach out to existing and potential customers to present our product and service offering
-Booking Demos for customers, follow ups, and converting to enrollments
- Communicate with customers to understand their requirements/address any queries
- Manage sales pipeline
- Track metrics to ensure targets are met
- Pitching products and/or services
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing schools/customers
- Contacting potential schools via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and other educational events
- Preparing presentations and sales displays
- Contacting schools to inform them about new workshops
- Following up for contracts and renewals by phone, email, and in person
- Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
