Funic Tech - Manager - Technical Sales (4-5 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for technical products and solutions.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring technical requirements and customer needs are met.
- Create and present compelling product demos, technical presentations, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that resonate with technical audiences.
Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, acting as the technical subject matter expert.
- Understand customer requirements and business challenges to propose suitable technical solutions.
- Assist customers with technical evaluations and demonstrations, addressing any questions or concerns about the product or service.
- Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction, product implementation, and ongoing engagement.
Technical Consultation & Support:
- Provide expert technical guidance during the sales process, helping customers understand the technical aspects of products and solutions.
- Work with engineering and product teams to stay up-to-date with product developments and enhancements.
- Help customers identify the best technical solutions for their needs, and offer guidance on integration and configuration.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop account plans, proposals, and deliverables.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior sales staff, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure customer feedback is captured and communicated for product improvements.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and product enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Report on key performance metrics and sales achievements to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or presales role, preferably in a B2B technology, software, or hardware industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
- Solid understanding of technical products, systems, and solutions (e.g., SaaS, cloud computing, networking, IT infrastructure, etc.).
- Experience in presenting and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
Other Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple sales opportunities simultaneously and manage deadlines effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset and a customer-first approach to sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce, AWS, Azure) would be a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in specific industries such as cloud, cybersecurity, AI, IT services, or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience with Product Demonstrations: Hands-on experience delivering technical demos and training sessions to prospective clients.
- Languages: Proficiency in additional languages can be beneficial, depending on your target market.
