We are currently seeking a Fundraising Strategist to oversee our donor relations program and manage our fundraising initiatives.

You will be responsible for developing our non-profit's fundraising campaigns, communicating with current and prospective donors, and supporting and building an effective team of fundraising managers across India. This position involves managing individual and corporate gifts as well as planned and annual giving campaigns. Working with diverse fudraisers and encouraging them to attain their goals would be a key performance area. This role sits at the cusp of programs and fundraising. The circle of influence spans between programs, marketing and fundraising.

Your Responsibilities:

- Develop and oversee the execution of our annual fundraising strategy and program in consultation with the Program Director

- Create an annual operating plan of the budget that would be required, then planning a fundraising calendar across the Indian and international geographies. This then needs to be translated to various different fundraisers

- Plans include CSR, Events, Grants and online giving strategy, including the monthly giving Program and crowd-funding campaigns through the year

- Create a robust donor retention strategy and oversee its execution

- Set targets and track progress of individual fundraising managers pan India reporting to you

- Collaborate with fundraising managers on the management and planning of fundraising events and donor reception

- Develop marketing collaterals related to fundraising in collaboration with our communication department

- Assist in bringing in new advisory board members and fundraising managers

- Ensure timely and accurate report deliveries to funders, executive director, CEO, board of advisors, and trustees working with the finance team

Your skills and experience :

- You have to love meeting people and working with people

- 5-10 years fundraising / sales / business development experience will be a bonus.
