FuelBuddy - State Head - Business Development (7-10 yrs)
Job Summary :
The State Head is responsible for leading and managing the Business Development for the Karnataka region of India, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, extensive sales experience, and a deep understanding of the fuel delivery industry. The State Head will oversee a team of sales professionals, develop and implement sales strategies, and work closely with other departments to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy and Execution :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and expand market presence in the southern region.
- Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and customer segments to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
Team Leadership and Management :
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team, setting clear performance goals and providing regular feedback.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
- Implement strong customer feedback mechanisms to gather insights and improve service quality.
Sales Operations and Reporting :
- Oversee the sales operations, including lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Ensure efficient use of sales tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Budgeting and Financial Management :
- Prepare and manage the sales budget for the southern region, focusing on cost control and revenue optimization.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination :
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Experience :
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Business Development, sales management, preferably in the fuel delivery, logistics, commercial vehicles or new age automobile, industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a regional role.
- Experience in managing and high performing sales teams.
- Must have experience in B2B, concept selling, solution selling, channel sales or enterprise sales.
