Role Prerequisites :
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets - quarterly and yearly
- Considerable experience in B2B selling, preferably in marketing/advertising and related disciplines
- Knowledge of B2B Marketing, the various kinds of strategies that are deployed in B2B Marketing (Content Marketing, Funnel Marketing, Demand-Gen, etc.)
- 5-7 years of core sales experience
Key Result Areas :
- Sales Strategy and Implementation Solution mindset
- Defining the sales strategy for the company and breaking it down into actionable steps and implementation plans (avenues, sectors, size of the companies - we should be selling to)
- Ensuring the sales funnel is well defined with all the possible interventions/support needed for nurturing a lead into a successful sale
- With the help of extended teams, work on developing compelling pitches that can be taken to the client with the intention of successful selling
- Understanding clients- requirements and then working with the teams internally to suggest the best approaches in the pitch proposals
Getting New Leads and Opportunities :
- Ensure regular flow of new leads through the existing channels or new channels that may be proposed by you and build a solid pipeline
- Work with the internal marketing teams to ensure the right support is there for any campaigns for lead generation
- Join online forums, communities, groups to keep a look at the potential opportunities that may arise
- Explore opportunities in your network and maintain a database of potential leads
- Nurture these leads through emails/marketing assets to ensure FrogIdeas stay top of the mind
Lead Management and Pitching :
- Manage the BD tracker (Through a CRM tool) and regularly update the same to discuss with CEO every week
- Keep the playbook ready with you all times - company creds, proposal formats, questionnaires, etc. that may come handy during client conversations
- Set up internal deadlines for pitch delivery and work with the team to ensure the final presentation answers to the clients- objectives
- Present the pitch to the client stakeholder team and gauge their feedback/reactions so that you are ready for the next step
- Follow-up on the next steps and ensure you stay in constant touch for the pitch to convert Lead Closures:
- Negotiate with the Procurement team as and when the requirement arises
- Ensure all the pitches get closed with all the relevant paperwork (Scope of work documents, contracts, advance invoices, if any, etc.)
- Assist a smooth handover to the Customer Success Manager to ensure the experience of the client doesn- t break during the transition
Revenue Performance/Targets Governance :
- Weekly calls to understand all leads- statuses, actions required and possible bottlenecks
- Ensure regular monthly/quarterly meetings with the CEO to understand the targets taken, deficit and current revenue numbers
- Owning revenue projections and ensuring the revenue remains on track with respect to the preset goals
Regular Trainings and Networking (Online Events/Webinars) :
- Regular participation in online webinars and events to network with potential leads
- Participate and undertaken training programs/courses as deem fit and necessary, in consultation with the CEO
General Proficiencies :
- Good with numbers and have a panache for sales
- Proficient in preparing quick documents: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
