Freight Tiger - Manager - Senior Operations (4-8 yrs)
In this position, you will :
- Be responsible for managing our operations and our operations team at plant/ remote locations
- Take complete ownership for delivering on defined objectives for our operations team at plant/ remote locations
- Analyse data regularly and come up with insights aligned towards achievement of defined goals and objectives
- Achieve operational excellence & the optimal customer experience. Custodian of operational processes implemented at plant/ remote locations. Look for areas of optimisation and automation in our processes and work with multiple stakeholders to drive to fruition the changes/ enhancements required
- Be the go to person for customers and team members to solve all operational issues and identify the right solutions to customers
- Engage with the customer on an on-going basis in coordination with other stakeholders. Contribute towards growth of the account
- Own the operational issues and provide suggestions which could contribute to customer delight
- Work with internal and external team members for driving strategic initiatives. Communicate with transporters, drivers
- Lead strategic projects, drive important decisions to improve the experience & growth of our driver partners
- Identify areas of improvement and help improve or innovate new processes to keep teams as efficient as possible
- Able to work with remote teams to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
- Work with internal stakeholders to clearly define goals for the team and drive and monitor the team to meet these goals
- Setting up mechanisms to monitor team performance
- Make presentations for internal and external stakeholders
You :
- Have experience in operations/ managing special projects in operations space with customer facing exposure is preferred
- Have minimum 4 years of work experience in preferably start-ups and logistics industry
- Bachelors degree is must, MBA is a plus
- Are proactive in nature; when you see an opportunity, you address it, not waiting for someone else to take initiative
- Have exceptional Analytical, problem solving, Excel and data management skills
- Are able to manage new strategic projects where you can- t rely on pre-existing structures and project scope
- Have conceptual Mindset, data-driven mentality and strong business foresight and judgement. Able to roll up your sleeves and analyse the data and pull key insights for your team.
- Have strong inter personal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
