Freight Systems - Assistant Sales Manager/Deputy Sales Manager- Business Development (4-17 yrs)

Organisation: One of the Largest Freight Forwarder

Job Summary :

Assist the Sales / manager in sales and be directly responsible for revenue generation from specified geographical areas and achieving set targets on all core products AI/ SI /SE/AE & WM

Key Responsibilities :

- Identifying business opportunities and potential clients in targeted segments to secure profitable business through proper evaluation of market intelligence.

- Handling Business Development as getting empanelled with new companies & providing them 100 % Logistics Solution.

- Enter outcomes of client visit on the system.

- Give periodic courtesy calls to clients to take feedbacks and to check for new business.

- Complete RFQs, and support/direct Inside Sales for on-going rate quotations.

- Understand competitive landscape and internal cost structure to offer profitable pricing.

- Establish SOPs for customer service and operations dept to handle new accounts.

- Evaluate customer's need for credit and complete credit application documentation (if needed).

- Ensure collections on time from all invoices for accounts department.

- Preparation and submission of weekly call notes, client profiles, weekly sales report in e-freight suite package

Qualification & Experience :

- Graduate/ Post Graduate / MBA in Sales and marketing preferred.

- Requires minimum 4 - 12 years of relevant experience in the industry

IMPORTANT NOTE :

1. Only from freight background.

2. Should have knowledge of All products - Air / Ocean

3. Exposure of sales role
