FreeUp is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for producing engaging video content to be shared across our social media platforms. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation while contributing to the growth of a dynamic e-commerce company.

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Video Content Creation : Produce high-quality video content for various social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

Content Ideation : Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video content that align with FreeUp's brand identity and marketing objectives.

Scriptwriting : Write compelling scripts and storyboards for video content, ensuring clear messaging and engaging storytelling.

Filming and Editing : Capture and edit video footage using industry-standard software to create polished and professional-looking short videos.

Influencer Collaboration : Assist in identifying and researching potential influencers and content creators for collaboration opportunities, taking into account target audience, brand fit, and engagement metrics.

Optimization : Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in social media video content creation, and apply this knowledge to optimize FreeUp's video content strategy.

Platform Management : Assist in managing FreeUp's social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.

Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment between video content and overall marketing initiatives..

Continuous Learning : Proactively seek opportunities for learning and skill development in video production, social media marketing, and related areas.

Qualifications :

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Film Production).

- Strong passion for video production and social media marketing, with a keen eye for visual storytelling.

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.

- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and experience using design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to experiment and try new approaches.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, particularly in the e-commerce and digital marketing space.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
