Freelancer - Copy Writing - Internet Technology Startup (1-5 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:-
- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice detailing message and target audience
- Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements (in both English and Hindi/Marathi)
- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages) (in both English and Hindi/Marathi)
- Conduct bilingual research and interviews
- Edit and proofread copy as needed (in both English and Hindi/Marathi)
Ideal Candidate Requirements:-
- Accreditation in English-Hindi translation will be looked upon favorably
- 1+ years of experience as a copywriter or related role
- Experience copywriting for firms in India will be a plus
- Strong understanding of the nuances of colloquial Hindi and Marathi (especially within the Maharashtra region)
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- An outstanding copywriting/translation portfolio with evidence of strong creative skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams
