Freelance - Technical Content Writer (3-20 yrs)

Responsibilities :
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Active and creative approach to working
- Precision and ability to work in changing situations with a limited schedule
- Ability to follow detailed writing rules, sometimes undocumented.
- Basic software skills (such as using Windows, MS Office, IE, a graphics tool for taking screenshots)
- A basic understanding of web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and C++, C#, Java programming and is able to quickly adopt basics of other languages
- Knowledge of software development processes and generic tools (IDE etc.)
- Reading and understanding an API reference as well as code snippets and examples from CSS, XML, HTML, C, and JS files
- Ability to use an SDK, create simple projects with SDK templates, and play around with SDK tools enough to be able to document them or verify instructions written by somebody else
- Performing quality assurance and deep editing for content and written by developers in English
- Improving content by performing the tasks in the SDK and determining missing steps and needed clarifications
Qualifications :
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
- Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
