Sales Engineer


Summary :


- The role of the sales associate is to maintain value-added relationships with assigned accounts in order to position BFSC as a preferred solution provider. With goals of targeted revenue growth and sales of strategic products within a defined geographic area, a BFSC sales associate should always act in the best interest of the customer, applying sound ethics and service orientation. The sales associate is the primary customer interface and part of a team responsible for providing a variety of services, solutions, support, and information in a manner that builds trust, confidence, and long-term business relationships

Key Roles & Responsibilities :


- Consistently achieve revenue growth from the assigned territory. Generate quality new leads and opportunities within these assigned accounts.

- Lead technical, project, and negotiation meetings with customers. Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.

- Close monitoring of active opportunities, quote follow up & attend order closure meetings with customer

- Accountable for technical review and confirmation of all customer inquiries and orders.

- Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, and services.

- Gains customer acceptance by timely, accurate, and consistently responding to their queries and providing value-added solutions.

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by cultivating a habit of self-learning and attending various educational workshops.

- Follow up on PO amendments, technical confirmation, and receivables from customers.

- Promote service offerings by conducting leak audits, site visits, and training to customers.

- Daily sales reporting of activities to management. Keep client database and organization charts updated

- Co-ordination with Commercial & Admin to clarify customer queries

Core Competencies Required :


- Must possess strong customer service skills, time management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Must be able to create exceptional presentations and business proposals.

- Must be detail oriented and an active listener

- Ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment to deliver or exceed results.

- Must possess a passion for improving customer management and technical ability that helps to thrive.

- Strong in MS office, CRM, or Sales Force and have an excellent understanding of a sales pipeline

Requisites :


Education : Post graduate / Graduation in B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical or Instrumentation engineering.

Experience : 2-4 Years in sales of Industrial products/Instrumentation/Flow Control Components/B2B/Application selling. Preferably from an MNC in Manufacturing Industry.
