FlytBase - Manager - Business Development (3-7 yrs)

- As the customer and partner network of FlytBase expands, we are also scaling up our Business Development team. Having previous experience in selling enterprise software products in areas such as drones, IoT, robotics, AI, cloud computing, or other advanced technology sectors will be greatly advantageous.
- We are building a team of young, motivated, business development leaders passionate about building a global drone autonomy software business. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the revenue, growth, and expansion of our software platform for the drone industry worldwide. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and shape the future of the global commercial drone market.
Location :
- This role is based out of Pune, India, and requires international travel for tradeshows, partner events, and product demos.

Role and Responsibilities :
- Drive monthly and quarterly revenue globally with respective regional account managers (NA, LATAM, EU, APAC, MENA, Oceania)
- Create innovative programs for partners and customers.
- Creating awareness about Drone Autonomy and helping customers understand the right drone solution for their use case.
- Build & explain the business case for FlytBase's offerings via presentations, face-to-face meetings, and trade shows. This will also involve developing and refining sales collateral (eg. presentations, white papers, case studies, and blogs).
- Track and report key business metrics using tools such as CRMs, mail tracking, conferencing, content sharing, and contract management tools.
- Leverage business intelligence and analytical tools to track and optimize relevant business metrics.
- Provide market and customer insights to product managers and marketing teams.
- Last but not least - travel to international trade shows to represent FlytBase's Global Presence!
- Is great with people - possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with others. Excel in building relationships, understanding customer needs, and fostering strong rapport with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Can demonstrate a high level of empathy and the ability to understand and relate to the challenges and concerns of customers.
- Exhibits a proactive approach to identifying how drones can effectively solve customer problems.
- Possesses a deep understanding of business metrics, and growth strategies, identifying Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), reducing churn rates, MRR/ARR, and maximizing Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Can demonstrate strong proficiency in commonly used productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Is available for a full-time role based in Pune
- Loves listening to sales podcasts, taking online courses, and reading books to upskill herself/himself.
Note :
- An MBA degree is not required.
- 0+ years of full-time experience in enterprise software sales is a must.
- Drone/Robotics/IoT/AI/SaaS/Cloud industry experience is a plus.
Compensation :
