Marketing Manager (FirstCry and Home Brands)
Purpose of the Job:
- Develop and manage brand marketing plans for FirstCry.com and BabyHug brands in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage brand marketing budgets and sales targets
- Work with and guide key stakeholders such as the in-house creative team, creative agency, media agency etc. to help deliver marketing assets for key internal customers
- Drive and assist in consumer-insight led new product development
- Institute processes for consumer/customer understanding as well as product/service feedback
1. FirstCry Brand
a. Develop insights and analysis to recommend new campaign development. Coordinate with the various agencies on briefs, development, execution, negotiations, production etc.
b. Coordinate the development of marketing assets for internal customers - offline stores, online brand marketing, specialised business units, supply chain etc.
c. Help drive consistent brand experience across all offline touch points - packaging, merchandising collaterals, products, brand marketing programs (e.g. influencer) etc.
2. FirstCry Media
a. Track and own the ROI for offline media spends
b. Manage the media plan for the year - periodic briefs, plan reviews, budgets
c. Define media analytics and maintain regular trackers as well as build MIS systems to ensure continuous feedback and improvement
d. Identify and assist in the negotiation of opportunities for sponsorships/AFPs and manage deliverables
3. Home brands
a. New product development inputs using consumer insights
i. Initiate briefs for consumer-insight led market gaps
ii. Assist in developing product propositions for off-the-shelf product formulations
iii. Drive the packaging development for product lines
b. Help drive consistent brand experience across all offline touch points - packaging, merchandising collaterals, products, brand marketing programs (e.g. influencer) etc.

d. Coordinate the development of marketing assets for internal customers - offline stores, online brand marketing, specialised business units, supply chain etc.
Requirements:
1. Self-driven and result-oriented
2. Strong analytical skills and ROI driven approach to marketing
3. Keen and intuitive sense of creative with a demonstrated sense of aesthetic and art
4. Has a very high solution orientation and ability to think creatively and innovatively
5. Good understanding of product development
6. Deep understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
7. Has managed large media budgets (~Rs 100 Cr) and is proficient in media planning
8. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel
