First Partners - Associate/Senior Associate - Public Relations (1-6 yrs)
The Public Relations Associate will be responsible for the development of our media strategies and oversee the execution and media relations to generate media cut through across a broad range of clients.

- A natural flair for editorial storytelling and a strong network of contacts are also a priority requirement of this role to ensure you can support the team with pitching to media.
- Broad experience in social and digital content creation and execution is also preferable.
Job Responsibilities :
PR plan development - Studying the organization's objectives, policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
- Leverage relationships with traditional and digital media relevant to the industry for brand building, client reputation and outreach.
- Develop written copy and media materials such as client briefings, press releases, media pitches and digital content.
- Disseminate, follow-up, and ensure desired output on all traditional/ social media activities, including media releases, press conferences, exclusive interactions, mapping social media handles of the client, its spokespeople and news publications.
- Research, compile and analyze client media coverage.
Maintain a contact directory of clients and regularly update relevant media lists
- Assist the team in ideation, development, and execution of PR plans.
- Media and influencer relations - building a network of supportive influencers in the media industry.
- Integrated communications with the interplay of digital and traditional media
- Developing and managing tactics like Press Releases, setting up media interactions, end-to-end management of press events, and high-impact communication campaign.
Skills and qualifications:
- Should possess a sense of curiosity, strategic thinking and planning, aspiration to learn, and the agility to adapt to the needs of the rapidly changing client expectations.
- Ability to collaborate and nurture positive working relationships with clients, colleagues within the agency and across the network.
- Willingness to learn and use digital tools and other company-specific digital platforms.
- Sound knowledge of ever-changing digital trends would be preferred.
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role and in managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
