JOB DESCRIPTION-
Sales officer is mainly responsible for selling products or services directly to a specific market and customer, or indirectly through a retail or distribution organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES
- Managing sales of sheeting business for a territory through innovative marketing.
- Ensure achievement of revenue as per target for the specific territory assigned
- Channel management: Identifying & networking with channel partners/ retailers, resulting in market penetration & reach for evaluating performance & monitoring the sales and marketing activities of roofing sheets.
- Monitoring inventory control, thereby ensuring ready availability of the stock as per the market demand and implementing effective logistic strategies.
- Responsible for increasing the distribution spread by appointing new dealers, distributors and retailers.
- Channel sales management
- He will also be preparing and sending various reports to the branch office
- Maintain quarterly and annually sales figure of assigned territory.
- Preparing renewal contracts and quotes for existing client
- Providing detailed updates on marketing activities of competitors
- Providing feedback from clients in order to access possible improvements to existing products and also the need for new products
- Ensuring proper handling of products to achieve good customer satisfaction
KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Should possess excellent time management skills,
- Willingness in traveling and working in a team of professionals
- Be creative, as well as possess excellent presentation and negotiation skills to successfully motivate staff and present information to customers
- Familiarity with the zone - geographically and culturally
