Fashor - Visual Merchandiser (3-6 yrs)
Overview:
As a Visual Merchandiser for our women's ethnic & fusionwear brand FASHOR, you'll play a crucial
role in creating visually appealing and enticing store environments that showcase our products in the best possible light. Your primary objective will be to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Visual Concepts : Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop visual concepts that align with the collections being launched and the brand's image.
Create Visual Displays: Design and create visually compelling displays, window presentations, and in- store layouts that effectively highlight key merchandise collections, promotions and seasonal themes.
Merchandise & Space Planning : Ensure all merchandise is presented in accordance with brand standards, including proper styling, product placement and signage. Maximize space efficiency within the store by strategically organizing merchandise displays and fixtures to optimize traffic flow and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including department store managers, sales associates of EBOs, and share VM decks and ensure the counters are aligned as per the VM theme.
Training and Support : Provide training and support to store staff on visual merchandising techniques, ensuring consistency in execution across all locations.
Seasonal Changes : Plan and execute seasonal changes in store layouts and displays to reflect new collections, holidays, and promotional events.
Vendor Management : Develop and coordinate with printing vendors across the country to ensure all the VM material and displays are executed as per brand standards and timelines.
Maintain Visual Standards : Regularly inspect and maintain the visual presentation of the store, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Stay Current with Trends : Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to continually innovate and enhance visual merchandising strategies.
Qualifications :
Creative Eye : Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for design, color, and composition.
Retail Experience : Previous experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the retail apparel industry.
Knowledge of Fashion Trends: A passion for fashion and a solid understanding of current fashion trends and industry standards.
Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate visual concepts.
Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high visual standards throughout the store.
Flexibility : Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in relevant software and tools for visual merchandising, such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and Microsoft Office.
Physical Stamina : Ability to lift and move merchandise and fixtures as needed, and to stand for extended periods during store setup and merchandising activities.
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, fashion design, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating visual merchandising skills may be considered in lieu of formal education.
