Fasal - Area Sales Manager - Fresh Produce (5-10 yrs)
Sales & Collections :
- Execute the annual operating plan for sales in NCR.
- Lead field sales teams to deliver sales volumes, sales value, no of outlets onboarded and billed.
- Drive width and depth of distribution (width: no of outlets billed, depth: no of SKUs per bill).
- Track the productivity of the field force via sales conversion %, no of line items, value of line items and total billing per day & week.
- Manage collections as per the WOCA plan given.
- Avoid ageing.
- Manage daily cash flows to ensure seamless ops.
- Ensure timely recon of collections via payment advices and recording in A/Cs.
Key account relationships :
- Create multiple levels of connects with MT/e-commerce customers.
- Get the team to develop a retail base.
- Understand spec sheets and buying pattern to increase depth of sales.
- Execute POS level marketing & branding.
New product launches :
- Drive adoption of new SKUs/products.
- Get an insight into new product/SKU ideas and feed back to HO.
Problem solving :
- Interfacing with the supply & ops teams to ensure supply & quality.
- Interfacing with accounts to ensure AR recon.
- Interfacing with clients to close out quality/payment disputes within 1 week.
- Get resources from HO to enable delivery of team's objectives.
Systems & processes :
- Drive systems & processes related to real time DE of sales, invoicing, ERP data entry.
- Present the territory performance during reviews.
- Visit the market everyday.
Market feedback :
- Monitor competitor/alternative products performance and feed info to HO/supply/ops to develop tactical operating plans.
Team management :
- Identify manpower needs basis AOP.
- Keep up the team's motivation and excitement.
- Lead through stress.
- Manage the daily activities of the team with a focus on AOP delivery.
Skills :
- Verbal & written Communication.
- Ability to analyse sales and collection data.
- Relation management skills.
- Need a hardcore sales professional ideally with 5-10 years of experience in territory sales.
- Proactive problem solver.
