Desired Candidate Profile:
Technical Content Writer
- We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use and easier to understand. The Content Writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content.
- To be successful as a Content Writer, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content & Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
- Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website & Update website content as needed.
- Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience & Promote content on social media.
- Identifying customers- needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content & Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems & Proofread and edit blog posts before publication & Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, developer guides, implementation guides, product documentation and API documentation.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
Requirements:
- 1-4 years of experience is compulsory with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
- Working knowledge of content management systems & Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications & Familiarity with web publications.
- Excellent communication skills, writing and editing skills & Ability to meet deadlines.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment & Experience doing research using multiple sources.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures & The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently & Portfolio of published articles.
- Experience maintaining content repository, optimizing content development to maximize reuse and minimize maintenance/duplication.
