- Hotel business or Hotel Contracting Experience Preferred.
- 2 to 6 years- experience.
- Highly Motivated Negotiators
- Understanding of the multiple channels of modern travel distribution
- Knowledge of multiple languages would be useful.
- Good understanding of the hotel business.
- Good understanding of the Hotel Pricing, dynamic, trade, static.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Extensive Research to understand the accommodation and commercial environment in each designated destination.
- Deliver a quality selection of 2-5 star hotels and other accommodation units in core destinations by negotiating new contracts and renegotiating current arrangements.
- Presenting the large number of varied global options to accommodation suppliers and finalising the best deals to deadline.
- Continuous monitoring of competitors to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Building year round rapport with accommodation suppliers to ensure a continued supply of the best possible rates, allotments and special offers through on-going renegotiation.
- Understanding the complexities of modern distribution and connectivity channels.
- Working closely with product teams in individual business units to ensure contracted product is relevant and facilitates their growth plans.
- Synergy with internal clients, Product, Sales, Finance to facilitate communication internally and with suppliers.
- Studying destinations and determining the suitability of accommodation to be included in different programmes.
- Organizing trips for face to face negotiations and attending relevant exhibitions.
- Meeting deadlines and targets
- Follow thorough approach to the administrative aspects of contract delivery.
- Finalize rates targets by destinations.
- Delivery of product portfolio by destination
- Sales volumes into hotels
- End customer and internal client satisfaction and quality measures.
- Versatility to buy European Product successfully for global markets.
- Effectively negotiating accommodation contracts.
- Hotel contacting focusing on key values and different requirements of our specialist companies.
- Maintaining rates competitiveness
- Build good relations with accommodation providers both independent and chains.
- Flexible to travel.
- Responsible for the strategic negotiation of accommodation contracts within a given territory.
- Representing all relevant brands in a given territory and meeting the specific market requirements of all internal Clients selling the destinations.
