Position Summary
- As Social Media Manager, the candidate will be required to manage the creation, design and publication of content to EY's social media channels. He/she will be required to work very closely with marketers, designers, editors and other approvers to publish relevant, insightful content.
- He/she should possess exceptional US English writing skills and experience in creating well-written, insightful content (both copy and visual assets). The candidate should be motivated, resourceful, and able to ensure the content provided is published on time and presented in a way that maximizes reader engagement.
- The candidate will be working with a global team, and should be aware of cross-cultural sensitivities and open to flexible work timings. He/she would be expected to learn quickly and stay up-to-date on what is happening in the sector they- re assigned.
Technical Skills/Tools Requirement
Essential
- Experience in creating insightful, well-written business content for social media (primarily Twitter and LinkedIn)
- Experience with digital and social media writing
- Experience in developing and managing paid LinkedIn and Twitter campaigns
- Exceptional US English writing and editing skills
- An eye for design and presentation
- Good people and project management skills
Desirable
- Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Roles and responsibilities :
- Create messaging (text and imagery) for social media based on existing thought leadership
- Proactively identify relevant, insightful content from existing material for use in EY's social media channels
- Exceptional US English writing skills
- Manage the end-to-end publication of social media content
- Use social media publishing platforms to create comprehensive campaign schedules and publish content to social media channels
- Collaborate with marketers, designers and relevant approvers to ensure content is created, risk approved and published on time
- Possess an eye for design and presentation
- Quickly learn and apply EY branding guidelines
- Ensure the content published complies with EY's legal, design and editorial guidelines
- Provide recommendations on the content, design/layout and strategy to maximize reader engagement
- Demonstrate social media management and marketing skills, possess knowledge of leading social media marketing practices
- Review metrics and track performance of posts, testing variations to improve traction and optimize impact
- Understand social media feedback metrics and adjust strategies based on feedback data
- Collate social media metrics and prepare monthly performance reviews. Work with Digital Content Manager to act on feedback about overall reader engagement across EY's digital channels
- Must have experience working closely with global teams
- Be professional, confident and enthusiastic; adapt to flexible work timings; demonstrate exceptional work ethics and customer focus
- Demonstrate exceptional project management skills
