Description: The role in the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function is responsible for executing key marketing activities in Strategy and Transactions (SaT) and other firm-wide marketing and communications initiatives. This includes working closely with the SaT marketing team and the wider BMC team for executing the Marketing and Communications Strategy which supports the overall priorities for EY India's SaT service line and the sectors assigned to the individual.
Job description:
- Execute the priority marketing initiatives building a favorable position for the brand's SAT offerings including M&A, restructuring and turnaround services, private equity, valuations, business modelling, working capital management, business strategy etc.. This includes but is not limited to reports and marketing collateral preparation, media relations, events, webcasts, surveys and polls, digital and social media activities, employee branding etc.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders/leadership to create and promote external announcements of business wins with relevant target audience through effective PR and social media promotions.
- Ideate and manage the process of thematic collateral creation including Thought Leadership, surveys, solution brochures, etc., by engaging with the SAT leadership. The role also includes planning and executing the marketing strategy for the developed collaterals.
- Liaison with the global SAT marketing teams to track global campaigns and adapt those to be leveraged in India
- Proactive media engagement to favorably position the brand, the relevant SAT solutions and subject matter leaders
- Facilitate in internal reportage and the various firm processes
- In discussion with the EY social media team, develop and implement a digital and social media strategy aimed towards enhancing the visibility of EY SAT leadership and solutions. This includes ideation, maintenance, content curation and innovative marketing of thought leadership, webpages and social media platforms
- Develop and deploy internal communication, leadership messages, etc. to raise solution or program awareness within the SAT employee groups
Preferred skills set:
- A strong executive presence, ability develop trusted business relationships with senior leadership
- Demonstrate experience in PR and media relations and engage journalists without external agency support. Experience in life sciences, corporate or professional services PR is preferred. PR agency experience will be an added benefit
- Should have an understanding of the digital, media, social media modus operandi and candidates with experience in the deal landscape will be preferred
- Demonstrate strong project management skills and proficiency in content creation and copy writing
- Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication abilities with a capability to network in external settings including events and in the journalist community
- Work collaboratively and effectively with peer functions and stakeholders to deliver on SAT and the assigned sectors strategic priorities
- Creative thinking for innovative marketing solutions
