Extramarks - Country Head (8-13 yrs)
At Extramarks, she will lead the creation and implementation of business and academic strategy and sales action plans that incorporate key actions that work to set KPIs for the business. They will be the single point of contact for business growth, growth, strategic plan creation and execution, operational efficiency and customer success.
KRA :
- Leading the creation of and implementation, reporting and continuous reviewing of the strategic and operational business plans to drive sales and revenue for the organization.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and sales action plans.
- Performing research and identifying new product, customer segment and new market opportunities.
- Continuously monitoring the market for information and latest trends and creating, participating in networking opportunities with key industry influencers and stakeholders and prospective customers.
- Developing and deploying new systems and processes to enable the effective execution of business plans.
- Participating in development of people, product, multi-channel marketing and sales strategies, engaging in continuous reviews of the same and leading their implementation.
- Networking and engaging with potential customers &ensuring lead customer success for of all Extramarks products and services.
- Developing and deploying a robust sales training strategy, engaging key internal and external stakeholders external stakeholders to ensure sales team is are up to date with latest market trends and all key sales training methodologies.
- Strategizing and Project managing academic content creation and contextualization.
- Developing optimized lead allocation methodologies to maximize sales ROI.
- Working closely with Central Strategy, Technology and Product Development teams to capture the voice of customers and customize products accordingly.
- Identifying areas of improvement in sales strategies and with a view of establishing actionable insights for continuous enhancement of product, sales, and business performance.
- Ability to work in a startup environment and deliver results in a high growth environment.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- The candidate must have significant experience in leading business units, strategy creation and execution, project and sales management (both B2B & B2C preferred, but experience in at least one required)within a fast-paced and dynamic and diverse business environment, preferably in the capacity working in the position of a Senior Sales Manager or Sales Head.
- International experience is a plus/ preferable.
- Experience in managing or leading key targeted digital marketing initiatives including but not limited to SEO, Social Media & Search advertisement strategies, is a plus.
- The candidate must have significant experience of/ in evaluating product/market situations and analyzing raw data and information, transforming it into actionable sales strategies and approaches.
- The candidate should be able to will in all interviews showcase an in-depth knowledge of the business product as well as in standard multichannel strategic, analytical, and marketing concepts.
- Experience in leading sales and/or leading business units in the Education Sector or FMCG Sector markets is desirable.
