Expert - Search Engine Optimization (3-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and Implement SEO Strategies :

a. Create and execute effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website.

b. Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content team and implement link-building strategies.

- On-Page and Off-Page Optimization :

a. Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for search engines.

b. Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.

c. Execute on-page SEO audits and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Technical SEO :

a. Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.

b. Improve the website's structure, HTML, and page performance.

c. Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance.

- Content Strategy :

a. Collaborate with content and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.

b. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

- Analytics and Reporting :

a. Monitor and analyze SEO statistics such as redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs.

b. Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools to track, report, and analyze website analytics.

c. Provide regular reports on SEO performance and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, with a successful track record.

- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.

- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data to derive actionable insights.

- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.

- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.

- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.

- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
