Expedite Impex - Executive - Business Development/Sales (1-2 yrs)
- This role requires a successful track record of prospecting and selling Freight Forwarding Services to small, medium and large national/international freight clients. This role will be responsible for Business Development, increasing the Company's Carrier Partner Network and promoting Operational Excellence.
Job Role :
- Hold specific knowledge regarding international and domestic freight forwarding, gateway operations as well as knowledge of current market trends.
- Increase company's sales by cold calling and develop revenue generation strategies by setting up meetings with clients.
- Negotiate freight rates with customers by the help of Pricing Department.
- Account Management to retain and grow current client base.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Company's specialty services, internal resources and customer requirements.
- Maintain MIS and provide updates to the management on regular basis.
- Strong coordination required in cross functional departments
Experience :
- 1-2 years as Sales Executive/Lead Generation experience in Freight Forwarding Services.
- Knowledge and understanding of international freight forwarding, domestic and gateway operations.
- Ability to independently develop new business opportunities outside of the Company's network of customers.
- Excellent Communication Skills to maintain relationships and negotiate with customers.
- Ability to strategically analyse and pursue opportunities to deliver continuous growth to the organization.
- Familiarity with Lead Generation through Cold Calling, Social Media, LinkedIn etc.
