Exhibitions India Group - Executive - Sales Operations - Travel Vertical (5-8 yrs)
Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage travel arrangements for the company - including documentation and formalities - pre- and post-travel and selling travel packages/travel solutions to our clients and provide them with excellent pre and post-sales service, ensuring a high customer satisfaction.
This position will be responsible for ensuring all the travel arrangements/operations (domestic or international) are completely hassle-free.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
A. Travel Operations
- Efficiently and cost-effectively manage end-to-end travel arrangements for both International and domestic locations (i.e., accommodations, booking flights, trains, etc hotels, car rentals, visa requests, other required relevant activities)
- Negotiate and secure competitive rates, discounts, and special travel arrangements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers.
- Communicate with the person traveling regularly to keep them updated on details.
- Manage emergency changes/cancellations professionally and calmly.
- Update Management on travel expenses.
- Maintain travel reports & MIS.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Manage and process all travel-related documentation, forms & formalities etc.
- Stay updated with travel management tools, online booking systems, and industry trends to leverage technology for effective travel management.
B. Sales :
- Sell MICE services to clients
- Identify client travel needs and preferences, and provide them with tailored travel packages/ travel solutions and contribute to the company's overall growth and revenue.
- Be SPOC for enquiries
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist clients with travel documentation and ensure they have all necessary information for their trip.
- Coordinate with internal department for bookings and reservations for flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.
- Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners to negotiate prices and secure the best deals for customers.
- Research and stay updated on travel destinations, industry trends, and available offers to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the entire booking process.
Candidate Profile :
- 5-8 years of proven experience in travel sales for both domestic and international travel domain.
- Should know international travel regulations, forms & formalities, customs, currencies etc
- The incumbent should have good knowledge of domestic and international critical itineraries/routings (good geographical knowledge is critical)
- In-depth knowledge of various travel destinations, airline policies, and travel industry practices.
- Good command on English, written and spoken - should be able to converse/interact with stakeholders, especially with international clients, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems and software is an asset.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong business development & networking skills

- Selection process - Shortlisted candidate will be required to come to the HO in Delhi for the interview
