- Our client is looking for a Travel Sales Representative. As a Travel Sales Representative, you will be responsible for assisting passengers in the U.S travel sales process.
- Your primary goal is to identify passengers' specifications, desires, and requirements, and provide them with suitable travel packages and flight reservations that meet their convenience. The process primarily serves passengers located in the U.S geography.
The Job
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify passengers' specifications, desires, and guide them with suitable travel packages and flight reservations according to their convenience. Ensure that the process complies with U.S regulations.
- Plan complete itineraries for passengers related to flight reservations, including accommodation and other travel-related services.
- Supply travelers with pertinent information related to their queries related to airline bookings and travel services.
- Develop new sales techniques and prepare promotional strategies to sell travel-related solutions to potential clients.
- Assist existing passengers with the cancellation and refund process for their bookings.
- Generate revenue on a daily/monthly basis by generating MCOs (Miscellaneous Charges Orders) out of each booking/PNR made.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills in English to effectively communicate with passengers.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the employer. Be target-oriented and strive to meet or exceed the assigned targets.
Ideal Candidate :
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the U.S Travel Sales Process is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with flight reservations or related services.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential in order to liaise with the Stakeholders of the region
- Should have the confidence to interact with U.S clients effectively.
- Exemplary selling skills and a passenger-oriented approach.
- Ability to handle passengers' escalations and provide effective resolutions.
- Education background in Hospitality, Travel Tourism, or Hospitality will add to the candidature.
- Good knowledge of routing for flight reservations.
- Must be flexible with night shifts and available for immediate joining.
- Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively with passengers.
- Graduate/Undergraduate/12th pass candidates are welcome, provided they are proficient in English.
- Responsible for making and receiving outbound/inbound calls, managing a large volume of calls in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of flight PNR creation and checking FXL/FXR (Flight XML) is a plus.
