Executive - Store Sales - Retail Segment - Garment (1-5 yrs)
Maximizing sales targets defined by business category and growing the customer base through excellence in customer service.
Merchandise and Inventory Control :
- Working with Store Manager towards achieving proposed sales & managing stock levels (no of months inventory) within specified limits
- Ensuring stock receipts are 100% QC checked
- Ensuring all stock received at stores is tagged (MRP/ HangTags /Sensormatic) before it put up on the shelves and there is no mismatch between system prices and that on tags through random checks)
- Manage and keep track of stock availability in the store, orders vs receipts on a weekly basis
- Acknowledgement of incoming material, sign off on quantity and quality accuracy
- Conduct monthly internal audits in the retail store to check the inventory status
- Review of physical stock against ERP status
- Account for any discrepancies and report
- Should be fully conversant with collections available online /offline only and be able to guide customers accordingly
Visual Merchandising & Look & Feel :
- Ensuring all displays in-store is in keeping with VM guidelines laid down by the VM team
- Ensuring color co-ordination is done in line with set norms, and customers are able to find co-ordinates in apparel, jewelry & accessories, online or in-store to the best of their ability
- Delivering an exemplary experience of Jaypore, ensuring customer delight
- Be fully conversant with handling all interactive and touch screen devices, including the app, and be able to guide customers along the interface, browse and transact Recognizing and understanding how an existing customer online is different from a first time customer and addressing their needs and wants
- Handling queries regarding online sales/returns/ processes with ease
- Enabling & facilitating customers- comfort with interactive screens/tablets to simulate the online experience instore
- Enabling customer orders online for items /sizes, not in stock at the store, facilitating transactions online and handling any /all kinds of customer grievances and issues
- Engaging with customers on an ongoing basis, capturing customer feedback
Manage administration activities :
- Monitor housekeeping activities of the retail store to maintain VM standards, brand image and cleanliness
- Help in preparation of weekly roster schedule to ensure smooth functioning of the retail store
Team Management :
- Working closely with Store Manager to move non -moving/overstocked merchandise back to the WHSe.
- Liaise with various stakeholders and cross-functional Depts -Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance Sourcing, and Tech team.
Cash desk Handling including Billing :
- Handle cash /credit card transactions with customers
- Responsible for cash desk and cash reconciliation on a daily basis/as and when the cashier is on leave
- Ensure adequate change is available at all times
- Be fully conversant with, and able to bill manually in case of a system breakdown
- Redeem coupons/ Gift vouchers as per policy
- Manage petty cash accounting in the absence of the cashier
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workstation
