Social Media Executive
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Social calendar management : work closely with the marketing manager to ideate on and help create the social media calendar for the brand. You will also be the SPOC with the creative team to populate this calendar and ensure all brand guidelines are followed.
2. Social media management : ensure that the calendar made for the month is followed without gaps, create a posting and boosting schedules and follow them. Using relevant social channels to drive traffic to the website and to third-party networks will be a key objective.
3. Data analytics : report and analyze the performance of all the content being published by the brand. Spot trends in numbers, draw pointed conclusions and create an informed communication strategy across channels. Liaise with the sales team to maintain reports for the D2C website and other online platforms and work closely with performance marketing agencies to monitor the ROI.
4. Community building : help build a digital community for the brand and find new and exciting ways to get people to join and stay loyal to the community. This can be omnichannel (Facebook, Email, WhatsApp, etc.)
5. Online reputation management (ORM) : monitor closely and improve how the brand is viewed by the online community. Set processes in place to ensure that the brand engages with its customers, regularly, frequently, and uses consistent means of communication.
6. Projects : work on brand campaigns and help set up remarketing channels, create and manage influencer outreach programs. Be responsible for setting up a community of brand-appropriate influencers and managing their collaborations. Liaise with the PR agency to coordinate with pre-planned influencer activities
Candidate Profile :
- Hand-on experience with managing multiple social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to coordinate with agencies and other brand stakeholders is a must.
- Someone who has worked on similar brands before has an added advantage.
- Experience in running campaigns for international brands is a plus.
- Good spoken and written English is a must.
- Hands-on experience with D2C tools (e.g., Shopify/WordPress, Email marketing, Blogs.) is a plus.
- Ability to write and think creatively, problem solve, and be self-driven is key.
