Executive/Senior Executive - Sales - Import (1-5 yrs)
Job Title: Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive
Location: Mumbai and Pune
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Immediate Joiner Preferred
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute visits to both new and existing customers with the aim of increasing volume and gross profit, ensuring customer retention, and proactively resolving any issues or requirements they may have.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to foster trust and loyalty.
- Take ownership of acquiring new customers while nurturing and expanding relationships with current accounts.
- Utilize cold calling and deep selling techniques to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Regularly assess the satisfaction levels of existing accounts, identify areas for improvement, and explore avenues for additional revenue generation.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business and requirements, prioritizing a customer-centric approach in all interactions.
- Gather market intelligence and actively contribute to business development discussions during weekly or monthly sales meetings.
- Negotiate pricing with clients within established guidelines, with a focus on maximizing profitability.
- Gather relevant customer information for Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and assist in the preparation of implementation documents to ensure smooth operational handover and meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments in coordination with the Finance department.
- Actively generate leads to contribute to the overall sales pipeline.
- Support the credit team in credit follow-ups and payment collections.
- Assist teammates in understanding customer requirements and executing tasks smoothly.
- Assist the Route Development Manager in organizing internal and external visitor arrangements.
- Prepare sales and marketing materials and presentations tailored to the needs of existing or potential clients.
- Uphold the company's philosophy, quality management system, and highest standards of business practice in all dealings.
- Identify potential new clients within the sales territory and specified product range according to sales budgets.
- Re-engage 'lost' or 'inactive' accounts to uncover new potential opportunities within the sales territory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record in sales with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
