Executive/Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - Business Development/Presales (2-4 yrs)
Role
- Provide pre-sales support to Bus Development Teams and Account Management Teams through Lead Generation, Market Information Analysis, Competition Knowledge
- Conduct sales calls to support salespeople, physically or by phone to generate Leads
- Research prospect and customer business positions from the perspective of competing companies, relevant sites/marketing ideas and applicable sites. Deliver such research to Bus. Dev Executives & Account Managers as value-add.
- Transfer customer knowledge and understanding to Bus. Heads and Group Heads.
- Assist in establishing target customer descriptions for each selling channel, work with sales to understand that profile, and work to ensure that all calling and communication are structured towards those targets.
- Would carry activity target based on Business Development parameters.
Experience :
- 2-4 years in the related field.
- Must have worked Lead and prospect generation roles with track record of sustainable funnel creation
- Understanding of either of the following is added value : Media / Pharma /Software / IT Solutions/Consulting /KPO
- Must have worked in pre-sales/marketing support roles.
- Understanding of Sales & Marketing Cycle is added value
Job-related Skills :
- Some Technology orientation
- Understanding of solution sales in a business context.
- Good understanding of Internet and Web - search capability to get vital information
- Ability to verbally discuss solutions and services with CXO and senior management
- Ability to dissect customer needs and present them to internal resources.
- Ability to set up pre-qualified meetings for the BD Team
Management/Personal Skills :
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Credible personality.
- Strong skills using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
- Knowledge of sales cycle is an advantage
