Sales Executive - Plastic Bags
Hiring for one of the leading Plastic Bag manufacturing company in Selangor, Malaysia for the role of Sales Executive.
Note: Looking for candidates only from Plastic Bag Industry.
Main purpose of the role :
- The primary purpose of this role is to drive sales and revenue growth for the plastic bag manufacturing division.
- The Salesperson will develop and execute sales strategies, build and maintain strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
- A deep understanding of the plastic packaging industry, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities :
As a Salesperson :
Sales Strategy and Execution :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Spearhead marketing efforts to secure new business opportunities in the plastic bag sector.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and target key markets and customers, including retailers and distributors, for plastic bag products such as T-shirt bags, garbage bags, and shopping bags.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with existing and prospective clients.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the Head of Sales and Commercial regarding customer preferences and market demands.
Customer Service and Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Meet monthly sales targets and participate in regular performance reviews.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the plastic packaging or related manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in sales management or a similar role.
- Ability to identify new markets and establish a client base in the international market.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with plastic bag manufacturing processes and products.
