Executive - Sales - Jewelry (1-2 yrs)
As a Sales Executive in the jewellery industry, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our exquisite jewellery collections to customers. You will engage with clients, understand their needs and preferences, and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience. Your role will involve showcasing our products, offering expert advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Sales:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in exploring our jewellery collections.
- Understand customer preferences and guide them in selecting suitable pieces.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively to drive sales.
- Close sales transactions efficiently and process payments accurately.
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our jewellery designs, materials, and craftsmanship.
- Stay updated on current jewellery trends, styles, and industry developments.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers based on their requirements.
- Educate customers on care and maintenance of jewellery items.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to maximize sales.
Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation:
- Assist in maintaining a visually appealing and organized store environment.
- Participate in arranging jewellery displays and window showcases attractively.
- Ensure that product information and pricing displays are accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with the team to implement promotional strategies and marketing campaigns effectively.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Keep track of individual sales performance and report progress regularly.
- Provide feedback to the management regarding customer preferences, market trends, and sales strategies.
- Contribute ideas for improving sales processes, customer service, and overall business performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to influence and persuade customers.
- Passion for jewellery and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Basic knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery making techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
