Executive - Sales - IT (1-3 yrs)
Role : Sales Representative for Infrastructure Products (Cyber Security, Backup and Storage)
Overview : As a Sales Representative for Infrastructure Products, you will be responsible for driving the sales and growth of cyber security, backup, and storage solutions within the company. You will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This position requires a deep understanding of the industry and excellent sales skills.
Responsibilities :
1) Sales Strategy and Execution :
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets for cyber security, backup, and storage products.
- Identify target market segments and key accounts, and devise strategies to penetrate and expand the company's presence in those areas.
- Take a lead in prospecting, generating leads, and converting opportunities into successful sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales collateral, promotional campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
2) Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including enterprise clients, and establish the company as a trusted advisor for their infrastructure needs.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and provide tailored solutions to address customers' business challenges.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, managing ongoing customer relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Foster long-term partnerships by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding the company's product portfolio within existing accounts.
3) Sales Leadership and Mentorship :
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members, including training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Set clear sales targets and performance expectations, regularly monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with sales management to develop sales strategies, forecast revenue, and contribute to the overall sales growth of the organization.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
4) Negotiation and Closing :
- Lead negotiations with key clients, including pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth contract negotiations and execution.
- Work closely with technical and implementation teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to implementation, addressing any customer concerns or issues that may arise.
5) Reporting and Analysis :
- Generate regular sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights and recommendations to sales management.
- Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and forecast accurately.
- Continuously assess and refine sales processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Significant experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry, with a focus on infrastructure products such as cyber security, backup, and storage.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the cyber security, backup, and storage market, including trends, technologies, and competitor landscape.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various levels within organizations.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
