POSITION TITLE : Sales Executive
DEPARTMENT : Sales & Marketing
INDUSTRY : Insurance (Preferable)
REPORTS TO : Director
EDUCATION : MBA / PGD - Sales or Marketing, BBA - Sales & Marketing, PGDM
EXPERIENCE : Minimum 2 Years
LOCATION : Gurgaon
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and implementing effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones
- Contacting potential clients and creating rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc
- Appraising the wishes and demands of business or individual customers and selling the suitable insurance schemes
- Giving Corporate and services Presentation /Demonstration to clients.
- Collect information from clients on their risk profiles in order to offer them the proper solution
- Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales and terms and keep relative records
- Check insurance claims to solidify trust and safeguard reputation
- Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge and apply it on the field
- Fulfill all company-established policy obligations
- Mapping potential customer & generate leads, new opportunity and sales for the organization.
- Responsible for maintaining good relation with existing clients and cross selling and client mining.
- Maintain the status of all prospects on daily/weekly/monthly basis and submit it to the management.
- Researching the market and identifying potential target customers
- Work efficiently with or without supervision
- Maintain MIS and report generation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 Years- Hands on experience in Insurance sales and business development with MBA / PGD - Sales or Marketing, BBA - Sales & Marketing, PGDM degree or diploma.
- Proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative or from Insurance Industry.
- Good comprehension of insurance plans
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
- Should have the capability to critically analyse the needs of client
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, team building capabilities, good coordination with project execution teams and client.
- Must have excellent presentation and customer service skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word) with the ability to learn new applications
- Hands-on management style and ability to deliver without an established infrastructure
