Executive - Sales - Hotel (2-4 yrs)
Location : Nasik
Experience : 2 to 4 years in the local market (Nasik) in hospitality sector
Job Responsibility/Scope :
- To co-ordinate and develop various sales and marketing programs of the hotel.
- Assist the Regional Sales Manager to maximize revenues of the hotel
Customer
- Build relationships, network & maintain regular contacts with corporate and individual customers, bookers, media, hoteliers and socialites.
- Build an accurate and effective database of current and potential guests/accounts in order to co-ordinate segment targeted mail shots in accordance with the S&M plan.
- Identify key customer needs through research, survey, sales calls & meetings.
Systems and Procedures
- Assist in developing and implementing promotional activities to increase sales, customer retention etc.
- Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- To produce weekly/monthly/quarterly MIS as needed.
- To design, order and proofing of sales literature/collateral, ensuring brand integrity and impact maximization, whilst accurately adhering to budget guidelines and procurement protocols.
- To implement effective filing and lead tracking systems within the sales department in order to minimize response times and maximize conversion.
- Co-ordinate with the Front Office regarding daily sales, VIPs, regulars and other guest requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up to date information on competition's performance, sales & marketing strategy etc.
Learning & Development
- To have product knowledge of Group and all its hotels.
- Be informed about the trends in hospitality and other innovation, changing customer needs and behaviour, and developments in other industries
Revenue
- Assist the Regional Sales Manager in planning and forecasting revenue for rooms, F&B outlets and revenue from various segments.
- Handle key accounts for the hotel and maximize revenue generation from these accounts.
- Ensure high occupancy of banquets and co-ordinate with the banquet team on various functions.
- Assist in preparation of revenue budgets for room and the various outlets.
- Assist in designing and developing the sales & marketing plan for the unit.
- Implement revenue management techniques.
- Co-ordinate with the Accounts dept on credit limits and outstanding from various guests/corporates and to ensure, timely collection of all outstanding dues from designated companies
- Responsible for maximizing revenue in various areas, like - banquets, rooms, restaurants etc.
