Executive - Sales - Freight Management Firm (2-5 yrs)
- Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
- Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.
- Maintain records of customer details / sales visits
- Identify potential customers and register opportunities
- Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
- Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
- Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
- Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
- Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.
- Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Finance Controller
- Negotiate contracts and rate agreements.
- Good understanding of Export Import/ Logistics Industry.
- Preparation of reports, presentation when required.
- Track/trace shipments when requested.
- Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Actively sourcing new sales opportunities through cold-calling and emailing.

Mandatory Requirements
- Should be minimum a graduate
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics mandatory.
- Should have Strong Clientele base
- Good communication skills
- Customer relation management skills
- Computer literate and be able to work independently
- Capable of achieving sales target independently
- Capable to generate new business in Export, Import and convert them to shipment
- To have good relations with Liners / NVOCCs for Competitive Rates, Placing Bookings.
