Job Description:
- Get business from new customers, products & applications.
- Work on new business opportunities & focus actions on developing business in Switch gears, Motors, protective coatings, and a variety of FRP products.
- Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Work closely with colleagues on cross-territory opportunities and other internal teams on marketing materials and cause studies.
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
- Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Create pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline
- Report on key KPIs related to sales.
- Offer samples for testing new products to end users, influencers & stakeholders.
- Follow up with customers for payment & monitor their current outstanding payments regularly to ensure that credit exposure stays under control.
- Travel as and when required in the market to meet end users, contractors, consultants, OEMs, SSI OEMs, WHS, and institutional customers & bodies.
- Keep the market updated about new products & technologies, making sustainable & specific efforts to introduce them in the market for long-term business growth.
Requirements:
- Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a salesperson's perspective
- The Ability to prepare mode reports and use the appropriate mode of communication. Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Initiative to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specialization in Mechanical/Electrical.
- Management degree in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of electronics is expected.
