Executive - Sales/Business Development - SaaS Product (5-6 yrs)
We are looking for a sharp, energetic and goal oriented Business Development Executive. The individual should have an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives on challenges and is looking for an opportunity to take the sales experience to the next level. Must stay focused on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management while working with prospects to create solutions for their needs and consult throughout the sales process.
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in helping drive our new customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Must be confident, articulate, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.
The Responsibilities:
- Learn & understand our platform / products
- Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities. coordinate business generation activities
- Create and maintain a Database of the prospects in the chosen Industry verticals.
- Develop and execute a target list of high potential prospects (budget, requirement, keeping the ears to the ground on the market developments)
- Understand and assess the prospect's requirements and budgets and map our's solutions with the requirements, answer potential client questions and follow-up call questions; respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Prospect outreach through outbound phone calls, direct mail, LinkedIn in mails, or any other channel to reach out to prospective customers
- Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and enquiries, closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
- Maintain a pipeline of all sales administration using a CRM software
- Create engaging presentations; present information to potential clients at client meetings, perform effective online demos to prospects
- Achieve monthly & quarterly quotas (for sales revenue and non-revenue KPIs)
The Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills, a positive and energetic phone presence and email communication, and an outgoing, friendly personality
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close. Ability to make focused efforts to progress and close deals. Experience with both inside and outside sales, including lead generation and outbound prospecting
- Proven sales/ market/business development experience preferably in SaaS industry and / or Start-up industry
- Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
- Passion, drive and the desire to be a part of a growing team that makes a difference for both the company and our clients
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- The end result would be to generate a robust sales pipeline
The Qualifications:
- A maximum of 5 years of experience (between 3 and 5 years) in B2B/Enterprise software sales with an emphasis on SaaS sales
- Record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Exceptional in-person, verbal and written communication skills a must
- The ideal candidate should have a conscious research-based approach and should be operationally strong on the usage of tools like Excel, Power Point and any Demand Gen vehicles like HubSpot and/or LinkedIn/ Lusha/ Build With/Hunter or similar tools
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
