Executive - Sales - Building Materials (1-3 yrs)
Sales & Business Development :
- Drive sales in the assigned territory by promoting products and services within the Architecture, Interior, Construction, Paints, Furniture, and Plywood industries.
- Achieve monthly sales targets through active engagement with potential clients such as architects, interior designers, contractors, and builders.
- Identify new sales opportunities and prospects through market visits, cold calling, and networking.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while developing new client relationships.
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and resolution of any queries or concerns.
- Gather customer feedback to improve service and product offerings.
Product Knowledge & Demonstration :
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product portfolio and services within the relevant industry segments.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the key features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Advise customers on the best products for their specific requirements based on their needs and budget.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis :
- Conduct market research to stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market demands and competitor strategies to refine sales approaches.
Lead Generation & Follow-up :
- Generate leads through direct customer interactions, referrals, and other marketing channels.
- Follow up on leads promptly and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
Sales Reporting :
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports detailing customer interactions, leads, sales performance, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to align strategies and share market insights.
Promotional Activities :
- Participate in promotional activities and events to increase brand awareness and drive product interest.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns aimed at boosting sales in the region.
Territory Management :
- Manage the sales operations within the Jamshedpur territory, ensuring maximum coverage of potential clients and key accounts.
- Optimize time and resources by effectively planning routes and client visits.
Key Skills :
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and build lasting relationships.
- Basic knowledge of the Architecture, Interior, Construction, Paints, Furniture, and Plywood industries.
- Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Sales negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and presentation purposes.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, preferably within Architecture, Interiors, Construction, Paints, Furniture, or Plywood industries.
- A valid driving license for mobility in the region.
