Executive - Public Relations (0-3 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing day-to-day activities and tactical execution of PR activities for the client. Ensuring execution of client work at all times with minimal supervision.
- Building and maintaining strong media relationships.
- To have in-depth knowledge about the client's industry, competition and client's business thereby providing strategic insights and advising the client on a day-to-day basis - proactively or reactively
- 1 to 5 years of experience in the Public Relations/Communications Industry.
- Excellent Skills in Communication & Client Servicing and People Management
- Evaluate and make recommendations for media opportunities to pursue/decline;
- Oversee the development and approval of all PR materials (messaging, press releases, Q&As, talking points)
- Craft ideas and pitch editorial content to various outlets
- Foster relationships with influential media, both in print and broadcast mediums (key bloggers, producers, reporters)
- Research, write & edit press materials including talking points, news releases, blogs, pitches, presentations, awards submissions and speaking abstracts
- Deliver concise, timely, and informative reporting on press activities, coverage, opportunities, successes, and press feedback to internal constituents. Provide post-mortem analysis and competitive analysis
Requirements :
- Bachelor- s/ Master's degree in public relations, communication, or journalism.
- Excellent understanding of various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Efficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic budget management skills to track spending on sponsorships, events, and marketing material.
- Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with customers.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- The ability to prioritize your workload and keep to strict content deadlines.
- Willingness to attend corporate events after hours and on weekends.
- Knowledge of copywriting and editing.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
